Namu Leather Goods

Each Wednesday we feature a local business in The Enoggera Ward and this week’s local business is NAMU LEATHER GOODS, located at Shop 4, 95 Samford Road, Alderley.

Opening Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am -12pm | Website: www.namuleathergoods.com | Email: namuleathergoods@cnrwines

Namu Leather Goods is owned and run by Whale and Christine, since 2018. Recently they opened their new shop in Alderley, it’s a studio, shop, filter coffee and tea bar. They design and hand make all their products including stitching, so each item has its own unique and special detail.

“Namu // 나무 | means tree in Korean, it was decided that this would be our name, as we wished for our business to sprout, grow and branch out like a tree. We also hope that our products resemble the nature of trees, by lasting for a long time and revealing its charm, characteristics, and value as it ages.”

Pieces sold at Namu include: pouches, wallets, camera accessories, bags, and many more. We occasionally combine up-cycled materials and collaborate with local artists and makers to create one-off pieces.

Namu is also currently holding workshops where you can learn to make your own pouch or cardholder and learn the basic techniques. For more information, visit their website and click the shop button.
