Works to upgrade the culvert crossing are now complete for Cribb Avenue, Mitchelton.

These works involved widening the footpath and culvert crossing to 3 metres to replace the existing paths as a compliment to the bridge upgrade that occurred a few years ago. This upgrade will improve connectivity for pedestrians and cyclists to the new bikeways and links which have already been constructed through Mitchelton and Keperra.

The removal of two mature trees and some undergrowth vegetation was required to upgrade the culvert crossing. These tree removals will be offset with plantings within the local catchment area in accordance with Council’s offset planting policy.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding during these works to improve the Cribb Avenue culvert crossing.
